Green Mountain Boxwood: Fast Growing Low Maintenance Hedge


Green Mountain Boxwood is a popular hedge for modern gardens. It is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 6 feet in height. Green Mountain Boxwood has dark green leaves and thrives in full sun to partial shade.

This shrub is also drought-tolerant and tolerant of clay soils. It is an excellent choice for hedges, topiary, and foundation planting.

It can also be used as a specimen plant or as part of a mass planting. Green Mountain Boxwood is deer-resistant and does not require much maintenance. However, it should be pruned every few years to maintain its shape.
